Where is block coolant plug bolt?
Hi. New here.
Just got a 2011 LT with a 2.2L for my daughter trying to go over it for her.
I'm wanting to flush out the old coolant completely.
Have searched here, but cannot find where the block drain plug is.
Any help would be great. A pic would be even better.
TIA

Hi Tia, to the forums!!
Yep, the radiator petkawk, lower passenger side of radiator.
Plug on bottom of water pump, passenger side behind engine.
And removing the thermostat should get all the coolant out. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-...l-p0128-24493/

Thanks all.
She's 1500 miles away in college, so I'd like to at least do the PITA stuff for her.
Car has 100k miles on it, but looks and drives like new.
Going to change all the hoses, engine oil and filter, tranny fluid and filter.
Advance has a sale on Mobil1 oil and filter and a roll of shop towels for $29.99
BTW, I think my lawn mower has a larger oil filter.
Already ordered 4 new speakers (fronts didn't work).
Passenger door actuator/latch broken, have yet to find that.
Wish I had more time to go thru it, but have got to give it to her in 3 weeks, so at least the long drive will hopefully shake things out.

It was the actual actuator, got it from a friends wife that works at a Chevy dealership, more than I wanted to spend about $130
On the bright side, I'm amazed at how well all these doors shut, just have to push them a bit with your pinky.
Years ago, only a Bentley had doors like that.
