Took the 2008 Panel to GM to re-program the remote door lock receiver ... a known problem on the 2008s.

Charged the battery yesterday and drove to the dealer. When csr went out to start the van it would not turn over and would not release the key. Voltmeter showed 0 volts at power outlet - later recovering to let the key out.

An hour later they started the car fine, did the re-programming, started it several times with no problem.

Any one with this experience?

 

First make sure the battery is good. My 08 did almost the same thing one day. I found that the battery cable under the hood had worked loose.
