yeah i forgot how bad fwd launches once you have a little power after i got used to driving the srt6.

it makes it fun though, look at it as a challenge to keep it under control.

During 1 race I actually managed to catch straight off the line, but then lost traction after I got out of the sticky!

New best time, went to a real track yesterday and made a few passes, best 1/8th ET was 9.22@78mph.

You know, I always wanted to ask... Why is there some tracks that are only 1/8th mile? I have never seen one, but it seems like they are becoming more popular. Is it safety regulations or just space constaints that these tracks seem to be appearing more?

Here in the San Diego that is all you can find. The closest 1/4mi is up near LA. There was an 1/4mi track closer to here, but from what I understand it was shut down a while back. I think with the 1/4mi there are a lot more safety requirements than with the 1/8mi.

Probably space limitations....Hard to find a half mile of land that can handle noise and traffic anymore..and thats close enough to allow people to attend.. Most of the big tracks have been around for years.

Mine is an auto with the stage 1 upgrade, the fastest times were 14.22@99mph and 14.28@101.48mph

Best Run, Bone Stock 5sp: 14.7 @ 94 mph.

If you choose to drag race, avoid wheel hop:
