Guess we'll both go next Friday . I checked my schedule up there but they have a sanctioned event this weekend, sad as I have a Volt for the weekend . Was anxious for some silent, electric, 16 second passes!

Wasn't racing, was putting a WOT load on it though at the time, bounced limiter quickly, I was definitely confused as to the timeframe that happened, so I go into fourth, go back into third to check, and yep...gone. Limp about two miles and started getting all sorts of noise, even at idle.

ZZP warned of this. After the clutch, and tires held, the trans did not. I have tracked it, and the car has seen a couple tuned NLS's but nothing I'd consider "abuse". Chalk it up to time and torque. Two weeks into the retune, so disheartening about what to do next.

ZZP's 4.45 parts are on backorder, so I'm having to put a new G85 trans in it.

I'll have to grab your number so we can text results next Friday, I'm looking to log a couple hundred miles on mine and possibly make a couple passes.

Joe: should have went with the SR-8 "Super Jeep". Those are one wicked rides, if you can find a good, clean low milage one. Drove one couple years ago, and only thing kept me from getting one, was I thought Crysler/Dodge was going under. Very quick, and handles. It's like a HHR-SS on steroids, and quicker to boot. "Moon"

Joe,
Volts are sneaky fast from a dig. I could barely beat one in a Camaro SS last year. By the end of 2nd I had him, but still, electric = max torque from a dig. That's the deal. Even a putz can make a show off the line in one... Don't fight that.

Electric cars are getting a lot quicker than you think.
The Tesla roadster made a couple of runs at the "Goodguys" autocross, and whoosh! He handed all but one guy his A$$. Thing was unbelievably quick, and hardly a sound. Puts the torque down like crazy. Shows you that torque means more than H.P.[but we should have already known that anyway]. Next few years, who knows what will be out there. "Moon"

Hey Rob: Pull the drivers seat, and sit on a apple crate. Save you more weight. "Moon"
P.S. Good luck at the drags. Lets see some quick times. "Moon"

The thing with electrics is it delivers 100% torque at 0 rpm. cant beat that without line lock, and a heafty stall convertor.

They had scale at the track but when they rebuilt the track they took it out. I would like to know also.
