Tis the season to be racing

As tracks across the country start to open for the season, some of us will be there every week trying their best to shave a tenth here and there off their times. So for you weekend warriors a little racer's prayer.

As I lay rubber down the street,
I pray for traction I can keep.
But, if I slip and begin to slide,
Please dear God protect my sweet ride.

To Rob, Moon, Christopher, 2005, and anyone else running their Hhr's. Be safe, be fast, and happy hunting!

Today is the first day of racing where I live, so from now until October I will be in a horsepower induced stupor every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

One track within a reasonable distance opened up last weekend, the rest open ths coming weekend. I'm hoping to make it to the track in the HHR and in the Typhoon within the next couple weeks. I want to see what the HHR will run stock before I start modding anything.

Yeah. I was going to do some work to the Sonic, but probably not anymore. I bought the Sonic so I could have something that got good mileage but was still fun to drive, then my wife decided that she liked it more than her car and she wanted it. So in her infinite sneakiness, she bought the HHR SS and then said "Since the HHR is faster then you would probably rather use it as your daily and I can take the Sonic." So now the Sonic is hers. She is more into a cars looks than speed, so it probably won't be getting any go fast parts.
