Correct Part #for Steering Rack assembly

What is the correct number? I have seen two variations, one claiming to be for the FE3 and another for the FE1 suspension, which doesnt make sense in regards to the steering rack. Are they different? The one AC Delco rack available on Rock Auto matches the "sport" suspension part# ACDELCO 25956915. Are the ratios or anything different between them? The one for the "soft" suspension is listed as ACDELCO 25956916.....

Honestly, I don't have a clue.
I did pull up a parts diagram from gmpartsdirect. Not sure how accurate the drawing is but it shows 2 completely different looking racks. Doesn't state which one is which.
Maybe another member has the answer.

It’s the gear ratio , number of turns lock to lock.
I had to provide my VIN when I bought the steering rack for Oldblue

According to AMAZON at least, they are the same dimensions, so should fit the same. is the number of turns lock to lock dictated by the gears in the rack? MY LT came with the FE1 suspension. I am thinking they just used the tighter gears to give a sportier feel with the FE3 suspension? I cant imagine thwey are different other than the gear inside the rack right? Only asking because I can get the sport one for about 30 bucks cheaper on Rock Auto.

I think I may have figured it out. I THINK all the parts books assume that all LT models have the SPORT suspension. If you go on ROCK AUTO and select the 2.2 options, the correct SOFT suspension rack pops up, but it is absent as an option for the 2.4 engine part list. Curiously, the GM parts direct descriptions read as follows.
25956916
Soft suspension. HHR. Lt. With rally package.
25956915
Sport suspension. HHR. SS. LS. Without rally package.

THE F is a rally package????????? sounds sporty, but why would the SPORT rack be absent a Rally package?

I think in the early years like mine a 2.4 could be had abesent of any other options, then later maybe 2008 the 2.4 was wrapped into a package which included FE3 and such. My 12006 has the 1LT without fog lights or FE3 suspension. Looks like I might have to order the LS rack.

Note that the top illustration has a hydraulic hose. Most likely another one of those Cobalt=HHR things.

I called the dealer and they couldnt search using my vin, but only the two above options came out. He agreed that the only difference must be in lock to lock turning in the gear ratio, just like Olblue suggested, and both the 2.2 and 2.4 have the same exact part number for both inner and outer tie rods, so Length shouldn't be an issue. Question is should I do a sneaky "upgrade" and get the sport one?

I think the one pictured in the above post by firemangeorge above is a generic steering rack picture or wrong all together because both the above part # picture the right one
