Had bluetooth and now none

Had paired my car to bluetooth with my phone. Worked well for awhile. Received a call on my phone while in the car and nada.
Pressed the speak to talk button and said "Blue tooth" and nothing, no answer back. The phone does have blue tooth active.
Don't know how I lost this function.
Input please.

The phone probaly needs to be paired again. Make sure discovery is turned on.

I have never had BT work the way I think it should, I think I'm too old.

What is "discovery"?
Never had to do this at all when I did the first and only pairing.

They can't see each other unless you set the phone to "visible to other devices" or similar.

Ok but where do I look on phone for this?
Using an LG Stylo 3 phone which is Android base.
Did find this but I don't think it applies to me being I have 2010 car and a new style phone.
Also when I push any button on my mirror there is no recognition. Have OnStar but is inactive.
I really think it might be a reset thing. But where?

What to do:

If the pairing had been working fine, you may need to take the car in and have the software updated since this has been known to cause the pairing to stop working.

On my samsung s3 I touch Bluetooth then a dialog says "my device" with a empty check box next to "only visible to paired devices" check that and it changes to "visible to all nearby devices".

But if your OnStar is not working your BT probably won't since BT is part of OnStar.

OK fixed the problem.
Found identical problem on a Volt forum and it was suggested to pull/reinstall the fuse for the OnStar.
On my panel inside the car is #24, it also is the fuse to power XM radio, which does work for me because I have an active subscription.
Had the key on when I did this, but don't know if has any bearing on a reset or not.
Pressed the talk button after this and said "bluetooth" and the magic voice answered.
Checked with the menu in car and my phone was still paired.
Call a friend and it's A-OK
