Lost connection between phone and Bluetooth

As the title says. Had the phone in the car and received a call but Bluetooth didn't function.
When I got home I went thru the steps to pair my phone by first deleting the phone from the car.
Turn key on and pressed the speak button but the system didn't say "ready".
Held the speak button down while waiting for response (no good) and held it down for 2 seconds and let up to see if that mattered, samething.
I paired with the car successfully with this phone 2 years ago with no problem.
Tried Google but no luck in finding the answer.

Didn't you have this problem before ? If so, what was the fix back then ?

Disregard if I'm thinking of someone else.

That was someone else.
But I found the problem or the fix I should say.
Delete your phone from car system.
Pull the 50 amp maxi fuse by the battery and plug it back in to reboot the BCM (Body Control Module) .
Now when you hit the speak button you hear "ready".
Then do all the steps to pair phone to car.
When all done reset the clock time and date on radio. No stations will be lost.

Merging the two threads would keep the two solutions together for ease of finding later.

George is correct and I had totally forgot that I had made the first one. Forgive me.
I don't know why I had to do this twice though.
First time might have been before I changed the battery ?
It's nice to know you can reset it from two locations. The 50 amp fuse in the back or the #24 fuse in the car.
Thanks again for your help Richie. It worked out just fine.

Merged

I thought it sounded similar. But turns out identical, I think all of the original words match up.
