Need the A-Pillar

Hello again:) I have a situation. This is about my 09 HHR SS. I read on here the you can easily swap out the A-Pillar and replace it with a different one the has the analog boost gauge(my SS has the RPD). Believe me I love the RPD but I want to add the analog gauge as well. I also saw the pictures on here that show that the wiring connector is there waiting to be used! So this should be easy to install. Not to my surprise I went to GM parts direct and P/N 25799244 has been discontinued This is the A pillar trim with the boost gauge. Very cool stuff. I really don't want to go to the junkyard and find an HHR there and take the a pillar out and bring it home and cut one up and rig a boost gauge in my beautiful SS. Can somebody please send me a link or links as to where I can go to find this particular part?

The few I was able to find did not come with the gauge and are a bit pricy.

EBay. That's how I tracked one down several years back.
I started to look just after his question was posted. Dealer sites like GM Parts Direct ect. and EBay came up zero.
I even looked to see if the Cobalt pillar worked and is a totally different part number.

Call your local Chevy dealers by you and give them the part number. It's a long shot but they might have one in stock or direct you to a dealer that has one.
The other is to start contacting salvage yards that have HHR's in their inventory and maybe you can get lucky.

Doesn't ZZP have them? Seems I recall one of our sponsors had them.

Yes! https://www.ebay.com/itm/ZZPerforman...RS1A5r&vxp=mtr

You might get a better deal direct.

Nice find, love the dual gauge idea. No one ever has a decent oil pressure gauge in a car anymore, I would probably add that to the boost gauge.

That's for 2 gauges, and no gauges included.

Like FMG said, Google that part number, several vendors seem to have it. Call each one until you find some that actually have it. Pick the deal that's best for you.

Who are the several vendors? OEM or aftermarket?
I would go to a dealer and see if they can come up with a p/n just for the gauge also. That way it's a plug and play for that. Oil pressure gauge is your home project to do.

Those are from the first page of results. I originally did not go past first page, but the good results seem to die out after that.

ZZP can supply gauges, as can eBay.

The problem with the online GM stores is that they don't tell you "not available" until after you order; that is why eBay/Amazon/RA is a bit better (they can't list for sale something they don't have in hand).
