Why is it that when you post a Classified Add that you cannot Edit or Delete it after a few days ???

For example ... I have changed my mind on price or terms ..

I made an error in the description etc, etc.

I want to add more info that I originally missed.

I have Sold the item and want to Delete the add.

And many more legitimate reasons...

Seems to me that they should leave those 2 options open as long as the add runs.

STUPID the way it is now ...

All posts are this way regardless if they are in the Classifieds. If your option to edit has expired you must contact a moderator to make the changes for you.

It's a bit like playing "Mother May I"

Doesn't the Moderator have enough to do without having this assignment ?

Look at Craigs List or E bay as a reference.

You can make changes anytime until there is a bid on Ebay.
You can cancel anytime with a reason.

Craigs list you can cancel or change/edit anytime you want.

This makes it much easier and faster to manage your Adds.

All the above without any assistance or special permission.
