Just thought I would ask what happened to the edit button. On some of my posts I see it and others I don't...sometimes even in the same thread? I noticed that I'm not the only one encountering this, so I thought I would ask.

They changed the set up. Now you can only edit your posts from the last 3? days.

 

I don't remember seeing that info posted anywhere...but that doesn't mean it's not here. I personally go back and edit a post once in a while, especially when I see a spelling error. We should be able to edit our own posts at our discretion...but I guess that's not possible anymore.

I'm not fond of the change myself...but I understand some of the reasoning behind the change.

 

I just noticed that myself. Found a typo, couldn`t correct it.

 

Guess we were bad and abused the edit button

 

If there is something you are unable to edit, wish and edit to be made, let one of the moderators know and we'll make the change for you. (depending on what the edit is and it's reasoning will it be granted or denied)

 

The edit option has a time limit on it since some members in the past went crazy and deleted everything.

I may increase the edit option to 10 days or so.

 

Wow thats a lil crazy to remove the option. If people want to delete their posts why is it a problem? I for one have a post thats about to loose all of its links for images in the how to sticky's and now its goin to be broke foreva. Such a shame.

Anyone notice that you can now vote when editing you're posts? Doesn't appear everytime but still quite often.

"Vote Now" appears where "Save" should be!
