Is there a setting I can change in my forum account to stay logged in? I'm using Firefox and have cookies enabled. Every time I come to the site, I have to log back in again. It also seems like I get logged out every time I take more than 5 minutes to write a post.

Maybe it's a firefox thing. I use IE, Chrome and Safari and never have this problem.

When you log in click the box that says "Remember Me" and see if that helps any.

If not, maybe you are running in "Private Browsing" mode? Check in the Tools menu if it says "Stop Private Browsing"

Also, if you start at the main home page, it seems to be asking you to log in, but if you continue to forums you may find that you are already "auto-logged on".

I should add I use FireFox 14.0.1

I use IE and mine has done that since i became a member....if i reload my computer and i log on it does it for awhile. also if i use someone elses computer it does it, and it does it even when i click on the forums page......but after awhile just click on the Chevyhhr.net logo on top(the forum pages) and it auto logs u in. Dont know why it does this but ive just ignored it

Nope not a FireFox thing. Been using FF exclusively for many years and its ok on this end.

Thanks, the "remember me" setting seemed to work this time, although I swear I had already tried that a couple times. Maybe I had done it before in Chrome.

Might be wrong, but seems like when we loose power here at the house, I have to log back on the next time on this site.

well it started today for me, each time I come to the forum it is asking me to login and after login to read this thread and I tried to reply it asked me to login again. This is the first time this happened to me since I joined *sigh*
