Has there been a change in the rules for pic size? It is still 640 X 480, correct?
Any pic that I have hosted in the gallery has never been larger than site rules. This being the case, why have ALL of my pics in the gallery been resized? Most went to 600 X 450, and a few have been reduced to just bigger than thumbnail size. I have done random checks of other members pics in the gallery and same seems to have been done to all.

Can a moderator please explain??

 

Jay, I just did a search as well, looks like most have been changed as you say. 600x450 or thumbnails.

It's because of all the mass amount of forum members who have dial-up They even took one of my stereo pics that I posted, which is hosted on photobucket, and resized it and added it to the gallery

I understand that, which is why I have never hosted a pic here larger than site rules. However, I don't think it is/was necessary to reduce some of the images to thumbnail size.

 

Jay, as far as I know the site rules of 640x480 still stand. I looked at your gallery and noticed the sizes as well. If you look at your whole gallery though some of your pics are still normal size . Maybe JonyyB or one of the other mods knows whats going on.

 

They have all been re-sized, they only exceptions might be the ones that I had cropped before uploading. As I stated before, all the pix were uploaded at 640 X 480 (insured by iPhoto software), and they have all been reduced to 600 X 450.

 

Just checked mine as well and you are right. They are all 600x450?!?

 

Most of mine are now 600x450, although I do have one that is 524x600.

The other 2 were small to begin with.
