I have been wanting to just "chat" with some of the members here. I was thinking it would be cool if the site admin could get with Meebo, and get it so we can chat with other members when we sign into our accounts here, and have the "chat" bar at the bottom of the screen like on MySpace. And the only way to chat with people on here is if you have "Befriended" them on their profile.

Would anyone else like this/use it?

Don't count on it. Once upon a time there was a chat room. Didn't last long.

 

This isn't a chat room per say.. It's chatting with your friends on here..

I am just saying, I would like this, and it would be more efficient for asking specific people questions when they are online as oppose to PM'ing and waiting 5-30minutes for a reply or more depending on how long they don't pay attention to their "PM" box.

 

Chatting in PM would overload the mailbox unless that person was a "premium member"..... That would get old real quick.

 

Thus the reason I suggested this idea. I have been chatting via PM for a while now, and I am growing tired of having to keep deleting messages. Yes, I know I have 500 slots available, but beyond a certain point being able to keep track of them to keep a conversation on track. What takes MANY pm's the talk about, takes about 15 minutes via chat.

 

No wonder you want a I-7 with 16 gigs of memory
