If you are encountering the error message "Web page not found" or "HTTP 404" errors, when using Internet Explorer, and trying to get to your Profile or certain other pages at the site here, be aware that it likely is not a fault of the forum or it's software, but likely is a problem with your browser. Give this a try, and if the problem persists, by all means let us know and we can investigate further.

How to clean up the history etc. on Internet Explorer:

Internet Explorer: on the upper IE menu bar, click on:
>Tools
>Internet Options
>Delete (under Browsing History)
> then unselect "Preserve favorites and Website data
> select Temp Internet files/Cookies/History/ and Download
> click the DELETE Button!!!
> restart Internet Explorer and sign back into the site here and try and access the links you were having problems with

If you are using Firefox or Chrome as your browser and are having the same problem, you can use the above as a guideline to clear your browser in a similar fashion.

tip: if you encounter the problem with one browser, give a different browser a try - that way you can isolate the problem
