I get a dns problem as well...only at work. (I work at Progressive HQ here in Cleveland) I've never had a problem here at home...just a lot of the time from work.

What exactly do you see or not see on the screen? Can you describe the problem, or better yet, can you screen capture it?

three to four days prior to starting this thread there were serveral times for 30 min to several hours that i would get "page can not be displayed" messages. tryed from a second computer and called a friend that had a different ISP. same same. tried serveral other site... OK

for several day after the original post the proplem continued...

for the last several days everything has worked properlly. it was like the DNS was loosing your address. some people seem to be able to get to you and other can t at times.

i had a similar problem years ago when someone duplicated an IP address on our net work... probibly not your problem but stranger things have happened.

had the log in problem right after reestabhishing my acccount. thought it was due to my ROBOFORM... but the problem went away after about three days and hasn t come back.

seems to be two seperate problems

I had about the same problems as RedFlyr indicated, at about the same time.

BUT today (just NOW) at 3:25PM, Arizona time, the site indicated I wasn't signed in. So I signed in. I was acknowledged as Snoopy, and then went to main "general Info" page, where it indicated I WAS NOT SIGNED IN. THE screen also did not display the New Posts link and several others in the titled bar. So, I signed in again. Finally got to the General Area again and scrolled throught the threads. Found the one on MPG and wrote a 4 paragraph response regarding the methods utilized by vehicle manufacturers to determine MPG. I attempted to "Submit Reply" and it deleted my post and said, AGAIN, I was not signed in.

This is really beginning to suck...BIG TIME.

This is what I got this morning when I tried to log in...and just about 30 min ago. Happens to me consistently...and sometimes for hours on end. I put the forum address in the address bar and end up at what you see below.

Deb, try entering chevyhhr.net directly into the address bar instead of going through msn search..... looks like you just need to hit or click enter on your keyboard.
