Who wants to be the next Mod?
First let me say, I like the insight of both. As an HHR owner with painted ghost flames, I would choose CJ as a MOD as his mod's were painted not ...... vinyl.
Also when I got on here, chevyhhr.net, and on Cardomain, CJ responded with a quick hello and compliments. That is always appreciated... and remembered!
Again I enjoy reading both but would choose CJ, esp. after his tri-color seat mods!
What a great idea and he did a good step by step how-to.
Any way, that's my dollars worth! What does $.02 buy??

CJ does seem to have the mods going on for sure! I love what he's done with his ride. I agree that CH is a straight shooter and it's a tight call between the two for me. But, as they say when the rubber meets the road, I'd have to go with CJ simply based on the post and mods I've seen from him. No offense to CH of course, none intended anyway.
my $.02, which doesn't buy much, last I checked I think you can get a single piece of double bubble chewing gum....

I like both.......in agreements with the other CJ is the better choice, he has not ruffled any feathers, which the Capt has done many times over, and some people take offense to his (Capt) words, NEVER have I heard about CJ doing either...don't get me wrong this site would not be the same without the Capt, I personally love his humor and his ways, but not everyone gets him like some of us do. He was one of the first peeps that I spoke with on a regular basis, but CJ is more of MOD material, sorry Capt! I STILL LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! (****winks****)....
The one thing I can say about CJ is he has changed a lot recently for the good. Me and him have had a few arguements in the past but he has seems to have changed. He used to be one of those people who loved attacking people on a personal level over nothing. You couldn't state your opinion if it was different from his. Even if you said something he did was cool but you personally wouldn't do it to your HHR, you would have hell to pay. He wanted everybody to tell him that his HHR is the greatest thing in the world and you better not tell him otherwise. If you've been on the HHR club site then you know what I mean. Now I think he realizes that not everyone thinks his HHR is the best one out there and that peoples taste are different so I haven't seen him behave like that in a while. I wouldn't mind having CJ as a mod as long as his previous attitude doesn't return and he doesn't let being a mod go to his head.

Ok, I checked CJ's seat mod and agree it wasn't a true "step by step." It kinda became one because of the many questions asked and the interest that was put into it by others. It was "cutting edge" for me to see though.
I will say I needed and appreciated Capt.'s info on speaker changes with Audiobahn. He did the best with the sub change, in my opinon. It gave you deep bass without a box. I need the back space as others probably do. So his approach, while again not being a true "Step by Step" either, was great info & super pictures.
I would like to add that Mike, being a vendor, and stepping out of this MOD race, was to me, a good example of ethics & integrity. While he & I haven't met as yet, I look forward to seeing him at the Cinco en Solvang" run.
I appreciate that fact we can express our opinions in a civil way. I hope there won't be mud slinging over this, as that would hurt the site for a while.
So here's my thanks to CJ and the Capt. for your input and ideas. They are appreciated. "Hooked on www.chevyhhr.net"

I gave up on the how to's because I suck at writing them.
I guess I'm better at doing things and then answering questions after. I don't really care if I become a mod because we don't really need another anyways. Maybe I'm too much of an ass to be a mod also.
Besides there are several members that I believe would make great mods.
In the end I'm sure JonyyB will make the right choice!
I should get off my ass and go out and put my underbody lights on.
