Good door speakers?

Good door speakers?

I have a 2007 LS and want to change the door speakers to a better sounding speakers, but dont know what kind to get. Any suggestions.

I got a couple pairs of Infinity Reference off ebay and they do a great job.

Whatever you can afford. Just about anything is going to be better than the factory speakers.

OK, this leads me to another question. Would it benefit me(sound wise) to replace speakers first, or radio first? I know nothing about audio other than I like it loud.

The HU is not THAT bad. The speakers alone will make a BIG difference.

Would you guys say the same for the "Premium" Pioneer system door speakers? Worth spending a couple of hundred to replace? I'm assuming that Juan is referring to the base system....

Yes, but I don't think I spent that much for mine. The "premium" speakers are just paper cones.

That's what I replaced. Like GDZHHR pointed out they are crappy paper cones with small magnets. Now they are "Premium" dust collectors in my garage.

Focal speakers I have them in my HHR and truck they are great speakers. I have never run them from a stock radio, but these are some very nice sounding speakers. The ones in my truck are a higher model and sound great.
