Just got a 2008 SS and find the lack of lights (or an easy way) to see what gear you are in bothers me. Does it bother any body else ? Actually I think the dash lights should always be on because the gausges aren't always easy to see either.

What has anybody done about the interior lighting, especially in the front seat area. Is it easy to wire some LED strings and have them work with the interior lights.

I bought a HHR Dome Light on E-bay, & plan on installing it upfront

 

I have been looking on Ebay also for a dome light. I'm jealous.

 

are you going to install it like the 09 are located, or somewhere else

 

I havent seen where the 09's light is, where is it mounted? Does anyone have a pic?

 

Somewhat helpful. Anybody have the details on wiring lights to the dome light so they will come on when the dome lights come on. Sorry... don't know how the relay comes into play.

2009= One between front seats, one between rear seats and one in the center of the cargo area.
