OK...so update to the Sub upgrade

Well it seems that the low level inputs to the stock amp are not all that low level. After getting my new amp and sub hooked up the amp kept shutting down. So after reading a few posts I decide to try the line level converter...now it works great...but I will need to get a bigger amp. It seems my 250w Sony amp is really only 150w rms in mono? I will be picking up a bigger amp next payday. The good news is the set-up works and I have bass!! pics to follow when I get home from work.

Ok...so I swapped out the sony amp for a kicker 200.2 and the sound improvement is amazing. The infinity speakers in the door now sound filling. Looking for a spare kicker amp emblem to slap over the stock pioneer emblem on the sub enclosure.

I tried an MTX RE-Q5 for my system and it shut down my amplifier, showing that it was "clipping". I think i'm going to try line out converters to see if they solve my problem. I was hoping that the 5 channel RE-Q5 would do all but it didn't seem it worked.
