Highway 455 from Celina to 75

I have driven this road on bike it is a for real blast on a bike but it is also a ton of fun in an HHR. approximately 34 turns on miles and this road is not level at all, definately very hilly. As the crow flies around 11 to 12 miles, probably 15 to 16 w turns, i forgot to measure

this is a link to the google map and if you go to the most zoomed in on the map you can really see the curves. there are smaller curves that look straight on the map. click on hybrid map as well, very cool

on the way back today i took Txsman2930 on it. it is hard to drive it fast and it is not banked very well but still really fun to drive.

at least 9- 90 degree turns that are marked 25 to 30 mph and at least another 8 to 9 that are almost 90 degree turns. take your car empty of anything inside so you can really throw it around. i need to mount a video camera inside the car, go drive it to 75, make a u turn and come back and let you guys see what it looks like from a front window or back window perspective. turn on the classic rock and haul butt and this is a fun ride.

if you are near here or visiting or just need a kick butt small stretch of road to drive in the DFW area, this is it. do yourself a favor and go drive whee

This road was a lot of fun. I worked the daylights out of my 5 spd tranny. I did a lot of shifting between 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear. Just as soon as I got to 4th gear, I'd had to shift back down to 3rd to ready for the next turn. Not something I'd take on a wet day, but today was perfect weather for it. Once I get some better tires and get rid of these factory tires, I'm definitely taking that drive again. All I remember saying through the whole thing was "holy crap!" It was a definite blast.
