[Well the day is fast approching. 22nd WHOLE HAWG DAY, Saturday, July 29,2006. Car Show starts at 0800 Hrs. and awards are presented at 1600 Hrs.
There are four motels in the area. I will tell you about only two of them.
Number one on my list is :
"Stay Inn " of Eufaula. It is at Hwy 69 and State Hwy 150 on the NW service road. Phone Number: 918-689-3999. Fax is same number.
They have the following: Rates are $69.95 per Night. Non-Smoking Rooms, 2- Queen Beds. All down stairs. Cont. Breakfast, WI-Fi, High Speed Internet.
This is my first choice. New carpet, new bedding, new paint. Super eating spots across the Hwy. Easy on-off Hwy.

Numer two is "Lakeview Landing & RV Park". 918-452-2736;
They have Rates: $73.00 per night. Non-smoking rooms; Has a small frig in room as well as a microwave. Nice view of lake. Has WI-FI and Highspeed Internet. No restraunts close.
If you want the name of the other two places, call me at 918-452-2003.
For those who would like to arrive early, Should the guys want it, I will have a BBQ with Burgers and Hot Dogs, as well as soft drinks for the children. We could meet at the motel and caravan to my place. (Just a thought).
I know that CJ will be here, and Woodie from OKC has commited to come.
The local Chevy dealer said he will have one there if he can keep one in stock. And the moose dude.
I will give to everyone who attends the show a thank you gift bag from ClearKote. I think you will enjoy it.
You guys wanted to get a mini meet going, well here is the perfect excuse for one.[/B]PM me and lets get this thing going !!!!!!!!!!
Or call. Or whatever. One thing I failed to mention, there will be a pancake breakfast Saturday Morning. And Yes lets ALL put our cars in the show. We just might wing the most members at the event !!!!!

I'm making plans to attend. My father told me the other day he wants to come to help. I think he is more intrested in the BBQ Pig. It would be great to have a nice HHR torn out. Hoe to get to meet lots of HHR owners. See you there.
It will only be a one day thing for me I'll drive down in the morning.

Looks like we got a 6 hour drive so we won't get into town until late Friday but we'll sure be ready for breakfast and what not in the morning!

Ooops just reread your post...8:00 for the car show, looks like an early day for all!

Anyone planning on entering the show?

And we'll be staying at Stay Inn....how can you go wrong with a name like that!

Count on me, the wife and our lil' boy being there!

Is this just for you Oklahomies or can some Texans crash the party, too? I'm moving up to the Dallas area about the week before. So not sure if I'll be able to go, but I may try. Sure sounds like fun though.

Big Jim. I don't know how to draw a map. But Eufaula is 32 miles North of McAlaster, Oklahoma on Hiway 69. It is 33 miles South of Muskogee, Oklahoma. (Hiway 69). Jim you can come South on 35 to OKC then East on 40 to 69. Then go South on 69 to Eufaula, Oklahoma. (12 miles).
You can see signs for the show along the way. Car wash is located about three blocks from the park. As far as camping, Several State Parks in the Area, with all sorts of camping sites. Don't forget about the Largest man made lake in Oklahoma. Over 600 miles of shore line. Looking forward to seeing you at the show.
