Moving to florida
This is true. I went to purchase a used 2004 Grand Caravan the other day that appeared realy nice for the money. When I got there I could actually push my finger through the floor pan. When the salesman pulled the Carfax we found it was purchased from an auction in upstate NY. I did wind up purchasing one two years older that has been a local car since new that has no rust.

i have a 77 stepside chevy and an 83 short bed chevy and the 77 is a rust bucket and the 83 has its share too(not to say that the salt is worse down here.....cause i agree with u i know its worse up there because they put it on the roads) but cars down here rust alot cause the rain. but there are alot of rusty cars down here.

Ew. That's odd though, because my Grandma who lived in Florida bought a brand new Saturn in 1991. Had it until she moved in 2007, not a bit of rust on it. She lived outdoors and hardly ever washed it. But I do believe she lived a little ways inland, a mile or two though...
Arent saturns made of plastic? I work on the water every day and I can assure you that anything (especially on the east coast) within a mile or two of the beach is getting salted when the wind is blowing, it takes a different wind to get us on the gulf side which is usually through the winter months or hurricanes. My jeep is feeling it a bit from sitting at the docks nose up to the water and taking full punishment. So far the HHR is good but I park it in a different place when I take it to work.
