Tail of The Dragon Cruise Oct 20th -23rd
Just noticed that it hadn't been posted on this site (was on the other site). There is an HHR cruise scheduled for Oct 20th thru the 23rd. Looks like about 25ish HHR's (give or take a few) are doing the Dragon this year. Looks like the hotel that most are staying at is:
Quality Inn & Suites
1116 Highway 68
Sweetwater Tenn. 37874
Phone- 423-337-4900
Exit 60 off Int 75
I will be arriving Friday afternoon and leaving late Sunday morning. If you live close would like to join the criuse we will all be at the hotel in the mornings or book a room and stay the whole weekend. The more we have cruising the Dragon the better. Should be lots of fun. Been looking forward to it all summer.

Hey Guys, where is the info posted? Chevyfamily?
I highly recommend the 319 cut-off right at the beginning of the Dragon, another great road. And its a little out of the way but 116 makes the dragon look like a straight road... ths one is entirely through coal mine country between Knoxville and Oak Ridge. Think Deliverance. No **** we came around a corner and almost tagged a "mountain" family out for a walk. with rifles horses and dogs. barefeet and all.

Yeah. Some is over there under the Large Meets area. Like Nole said, he posted it here too under this thread:

Looks like some are arriving the 20th, some the 21st. Drive the Dragon on the 21st and 22nd and head home the 23rd. I think everyone is meeting at the hotel in the mornings to get everyone together before the cruise and there is also a possible side cruise planned. I also belive there will be plenty of time for talking with members and get togethers for dinner and such. I can't wait. I know some from each site are going. Looks like 25ish so far.

Sweet, since we live here we do this all the time(drive the mountains). Getting cold in the mountains now too. we drove down to Chimneys this morning and nearly froze. Won't be too many bikes next month to contend with though if the temps continue to drop. Which will be nice
Can't wait to see 'Nole again since we're both from Tallahasse.

Hey All,
If anyone is intrested, there is an informal, yeah right(over 100 cars) gathering of car enthusists that "hang-out" every Saturday night here in Knoxville at Walker's Collision Center on Clinton Hwy, Knoxville.
The family usually goes to this(think folding chairs and a cooler) just to watch the other cars.
This usually starts around 4pm and goes into early evening. There is usually some entertainment, and hot dog stand.
