With so many SOM's together,
Hey I will bring down my Valve Cover (Orignial), and who ever has a 2.4 that has been thinking about painting can use mine, then pass to theirs to the next person down there.

What do you think?

Tower Shops 8/03/07

We all had a great time tonight at Tower Shops. We hung out all night, checked out each HHR unique style. We all stayed till the closing and the cops finally asked us to leave. I had a great time, meet Karen, and Tom, ( who owns 2 HHR's). Here are some photos

Tom, (non member yet), Craig, Jay, Karen, Bill, Raul

Well I just made it back to Tampa, a few minutes ago.
It was so Great to meet Tom, Craig and Duchess, Jay and Amy (it has been way to long), Bill and Kenny, and Raul.

4 Sunburst Oranges in one place that was not a car lot WoW.
1 Daytona but it was almost 2 Daytonas, there was a guy driving a Daytona around, and he got stuck right in front of our group.
Well really, he slowed down and Craig and Duchess cornered him, then we all ganged up on him, both front windows.
Nice guy, we all told him about the Net. (Hope he joins Jay needs help in the color departmemt) 4 against 1 .

When it came time to leave, the cops were driving around telling each group that it was time to leave. But they made a BIG mistake, when they got to our group. Here is what they said "Okay PT Cruisers , it is time to go!" I think that all of us turned to them and POLITELY said "These are HHR'S, not PT Crusiers!!!!!! These are Chevys!!!" To which the cops said "Oh, I stand corrected , HHR group, it is time to leave" At that point we all said good by to new and old friends and went our own ways.

I have no idea when I can come back down to do this, but to all that can do this, well all I can say is Please do, at least once.

Thank You again all that did attend, and I am so Glad to met those that I have only seen in writing.

I would have asked him, "Don't you have fires to put out?"

I had a great time talking and sharing at the meet. The weather was absolutely great, got scary for a moment and drove off some of the classics, but it also kept some of the ricers away as well. It was good seeing Karen again, I suppose next time it's up to me to do the road trip thing. BTW.....glad you made it back safely!
The emblem that Craig had given to me last month has been passed along to Tom (E & G Classic grill). Gave the emblem a temp mount for pics, and that is the grill that it belongs on!

As far as the officers who work this event, I believe they are there off duty and are extemely nice! The show runs til 10:00 PM and for those that haven't shown any sign of packing up and leaving, they politely ask that you go elsewhere, they don't hassle anyone in anyway.
