Have the new HHR you found join the site

Once again We are sorry to hear about your aunt.
Thank you. It is a bitter sweet thing, she is much better off. She has been getting worse, and has not been herself.

If it works better for everyone to move it... I'm ok with that. I just did not want to ask anyone to do that since the following weekend is the weekend before Christmas.

I did give the black 2LT my card with the website on it, hopefully he will be joining soon!

Thanks again... hope to see you all soon.

I also don't care if you give out my number to the new members to help with the meet up and such Retro.

I'M BACK! Got in late yesterday evening. I am in desperate need of having some fun! Thank you for your well wishes and prayers...they are greatly appreciated. I have had enough family politics and fun for awhile! Are we good for next Saturday?

Jason - glad to hear Jubilee with get to join us. The boys are all excited that they will have someone new to play with!

Ok...quick FYI...some friends were out at Santa's Village this weekend talking to some of the folks who work there...they are expecting record crowds this saturday...and it is not a recommended weekend to have small children at the park.

Just something to think about... I think they are open until January 21st.... not sure if it is a good thing to risk it with the kids? What do you all think? Sindy is coming in this weekend, correct?

Just another quick thought...there is that light drive over off the 101...maybe we can catch up with Sindy for lunch/dinner, then take all the HHR's through the light drive? or just stay with our current plans?

Well I vote for meeting up with Sindy and eating and then take a drive around town or just hang out.

Yeah the drive and hang sounds good. And we can do the Santa thing like New year's eve weekend or there abouts. Better than worrying about kids IMO. What time and where to meet??

Dwayne sent me a PM about this g2g. I've been watching that thread but waiting to post until more definite plans are made.

Friday is ok for me, the rest of the weekend is scheduled with family, etc.

Sindy, Just a little info for you...don't know where you're leaving from other than your statement of the LA area .....or where you are going. But, if you are on the east edge of LA, you're probably still 4 1/2 to 5 hours away (I make it in about 4 1/2 from Mentone...just s/e of you...to my house, 15 miles from the east edge of Phoenix). That is dependent on business/rush hour traffic at either end. I try to schedule around it.

If I don't see you, have a good trip and be careful of the fools and idiots out there. Keep us informed on your progress.

Thought I would add this, in case you haven't traveled I-10 east.....

Big Flying J gas station in Ehrenberg (just inside AZ state Line) has gas, food, lodging (Best Western). Of course, Blythe CA is before Ehrenberg. Then Quartzsite which has a couple of gas stations and I believe a McD and BK. After that, it is pretty lonesome until about Tonopah about 80 miles(big truck stop). After that you essentially start hitting civilization of the greater Phoenix area.

If anyone wants to, after some sight seeing or lights, we can head back to the house for a bon fire, hot chocolate, and roasted marshmellows. Just an additional thought

Just got word this morning that my grandparents just landed. They flew in from Kansas unannounced. AWESOME surprise. They've only seen my daughter twice so we're staying local for the hollidays. Ya'll have fun! I should be in town New Year's weekend. If ya'll want I can give ya a call and see about a meet up!! Merry Xmas and drive safe ya'll!
