with it being as hot as it is I don't see why the 'zonies and anyone else interested wouldn't be able to do a water park day or something in the Phx area. that way kids can go too! after we could cruise around and hit up a park for a bar-b-que or something simple for local az people. Just thought I would throw something out. Or even a 2 day g2g in Sedona, or a SoStHHR meet in LV. lots of possibilities here!

 

I am for planing 2 runs. I like the idea of a g2g for the day with the Az group. Do a faimly type thing, and also plan for a bigger run sometime in Oct like this started out. Maybe we should start a new thread for the Az 1 day g2g

 

After reading through the posts since my last one, it appears to me that I misunderstood this thread. I was under the impression that this was a get together in a central location for the 4 states in this region, thus my suggestion of the 4 corners. Since this does not appear to be the case, I will politely bow out of making further suggestions at this time. If at some time in the future, a run is planned in a more central location for this region, I will be happy to participate and help make plans.

 

Not a bad idea, maybe even Oakcreek canyon, just north of Sedona, great areas to picnic and play in the creeks.
