I do not think we can leave on a Thursday night. Have to get Patrick off to school on Friday AM and off to the babysitter after School.

Retro and "Spaz"...

IF I go, I probably can make Thursday night also. That way, we have somewhat of a convoy. After discussion with the wife, it appears she may not go. But, I may not go to Disneyland. I'll just take care of some business.

What is the normal price of the Disney admission (in case I make a last minute change)?

Spaz.....by my recollection...any lodgings within walking distance to Disney is higher than norm. I was thinking of Fairfield Inn, which is the economy bottom of Marriott. It's across the street from Disney and it is about $145/night.

a friend at work just went and she spent 500 for a whole week. I also can see what a military discount would be. I still have my ID and it doesn't expire till 2008!

If you are bringing kids and want some privacy, some friends of mine (and my daughter & family) are sold on the Residence Inn on Harbor Blvd. It's higher $ than some, but has a separate bedroom with cute bunk beds and their own bathroom. Oh, also a free FULL breakfast that is purportedly loud, raucous, busy, and delicious.

It's official.. we have booked our vacation! We just booked through getawaytoday.com. Paid $151.25 per person for 3 days and 2 nights, hotel, 3 day park hopper passes, and Early Admission "Character Breakfast" for Saturday. Have not found a better deal. We will be staying at the Motel 6 Maingate - used to be the redroof inn, just 1 mile from the maingate! WOOO HOOO MICKEY MOUSE ATTACK!!!!

Funny you made this post today, Gina asked about it today. What dates are you planning on leaving? You say "we" are the boys going also? With everything that just happened, we are now up in the air. Keep us posted as we still want to try and go.

I am brining the boys. My folks are coming too, so I will get some play time when they will have the boys with them. Some of us have considered leaving the night of Thursday, March 1. Will be there from the 2nd to the 4th.

I am truly sorry for your loss, I hope you can still make it. I think we all need to have some fun! Too much serious stuff lately!
