118 here in Phoenix yesterday! 
120 at Litchfield Park, just West of Phoenix, (X2!!) But it was only 115 here in Chandler. I had to put on a sweater
All kidding aside though, I sometimes wonder what I'm doing here. Anything over 80/85 is too hot for me. I hated the Winters back in NY, especially the ice and snow, but I hate the Summers here
And they last so long !!!
It's "Hot" from April thru October, and "Really Hot" July, August, and most of Sept.
I guess I should have just kept going, back in '66, over to the Carlsbad area in Cal. I might have actually been able to afford a home over there 40 Years ago!
