2009 Tom's Farm Cruise Hosted by SoCal HHRs
hey guys! im still the new guy,but i live in San Pedro and we have alot of beautiful coast line with parks and lots of parking space,ie: Point Ferman, Roya Palms and the Korean Bell.............just a suggestion
Well, it seems like you never know when a suggestion will take on a life of its own. You just gotta start a thread and see. I know, I've tried and seen several ideas get zero replies, myself. I've also seen things go like crazy. Nothing ventured nothing gained around here.
I, for one, love getting out of my element to go see something new and I've never been to San Pedro or any of the places you just mentioned. Holidays are notoriously poorly attended, so why not start a thread for a get-together sometime in January, and see what replies you get. I'll come. Oh, be sure to always check the calendar of events at http://socalhhrs.info/ first.

Finally I Got Frank N Stein Up & Running!!
Since Frank N Stein was won in a raffle At Tom's Farm, thought I'd post and state that she's up & running
in a corner of the Living Room next to the Plasma TV. I plan on transferring all my media + video conversion software

No Surprises yet, just powered it up, first experience with Vista. Not connected to the House Lan yet even though the router is 6 feet across from it, I'm waiting delivery of a wifi dongle. Tonight I'll transfer AVSConverter, Install Homeworld 3
Cheri,
There's a reason only one side of the room is shown in the picture

Death of the bird
OOPS! Seriously late in posting anything. I am with the NORCAL HHR group and I and several other NORCAL peoples attended the Tom's Farm event. I brought down the 07 LS, Cardinal Red color, the HHR that had the 73 trans am bird graphic on the hood with so many mods it is too long to list. I loved this car, I say loved, because when I got back to Vallejo, I let Rachel drive it, and in short order she didn't see the truck making a turn in front of her, and proceeded to rear end the truck under his bumper and totalled "RAZBERRY" as we called her. The crash was est at 35 mph, the air bags "did not" deploy as the truck was raised high, and she hit just a moose hair below where the bowtie normally is. The engine was jammed into the firewall bending in the front portion of the frame. Rachel was very-very lucky not to have suffered any injury (other than telling me that my two years of design efforts were gone), the fuel rail was smashed and gas went everywhere. When the repair people got to $11K on the repair list, "raz" was declared a total.
This was a beautiful car, substantially different in design than any other HHR I have seen, but that's the fun of it. I have never seen two the same. The only thing is saved was the crushed hood with the bird which is now in my back yard as a monster size flower pot. I won't post any of the pictures, cause there is no need to cry.Well bye-bye-birdey. Thanks for the memories.
