I took Thursday & Friday as sick leave from work. The back is acting up again. So, today I paid the ridiculous price of $69.99 for someone at a car wash to pretty up the Smurfinator for me. HAL is boxed up and ready. I just have to wake up early and hit the road. I've been back tracking the posts and see that there will be quite a few no-shows. See you all in the morning.

 

We will be there. It hasn't been a good Friday, but we'll make it!

Let me be the first to chime in after the event. Major props to Tim, Kris, Todd and Marilyn for heading this up. Great weather - LOTS of HHR's in all colors except the elusive Sandstone. Styles striped a lot of cars and Kris got an amazing Skull and Crossbones on her fuel tank lid. Awesome and generous prizes given away - the winner of the 50/50 carried on the tradition of donating his half back to the donation to the Diabetes charity we support.We had the mild and the wild and it was so good to see everyone and meet some new folks as well. Good food and a very smooth day. Looking forward to next year - what was the final count?

 

I was on my way home when it hit me. What a great day I just had with my old friends and new friends too. I had such a great time today with everyone, having fun the whole time. I hope everyone had a great time, we are truly a lucky bunch of folks.

A big thanks to everyone who helped out with pulling this off again. Everyone did there usual part and it went so smooth, it was like we knew what we were doing!

Wow! What a awsome day, weather was great as was the people. Big thanks to Jeff "Styles" for the great pinstriping job on our HHRs.As Tim said it brought mine to life.(didnt know it was dead LOL).It was nice to see everyone again and meet more new freinds.Very happy the T-Shirts were a big hit. The raffle was funny and great.What to all those winning numbers,That were never answered to.One more thing thanks to the complements on my air-intake. Gonna have to talk to Fast Eddie about marketing them.Thanks again to everyone who helped out to make it happen, and to everyone else for showing up.Can't wait until next years event.
