I think the decision to not have trophies was a great one - Shine the car up and kick it. I remember my first G2G, mine was completely stock and I see Tim's panel. I says to myself, well Im screwed. The first was the stubby antenna, well you all can relate. Our g2g's are always a blast and Tom's was a great place to see HHR's in all the various flavors. Met some great people that Im sure I'll see next year and hope to see those from farther out as well.

 

I Am so FREAKIN Jazzed! HAL is up and running! Just like Mike said plug and play! Big Thanks Mike you could not have made it any easier,,,, wait yes you could, you could have come over and hooked it up!! JK! Seriously, it almost took me longer to get HAL out of the box, then to hook him up!! The first thing I had to do was to watch Grumpee's video in HD! Way BlTCHEN vid by the way Grump..I agree with Don, much nicer to do a quick wipe down, then chill and socialize for the rest of the day! Well I'm going to play for a while,, L8TR!!, Joe

Mike(Pappa Smurf) Hal this year, Frankenstein in 2009, Wasn't there one for 2008?

 

I only got my HHR 3-days prior to the '08 event, no I didn't donate a computer then.
I'll be retiring in May next year, so HAL may be the last computer donation.
But, that is a year away.

 

I have always wanted to do that, looks like such fun!! But, yeah, we missed you.

 

I have to chime in agreement here - no car awards was really a nice thing, it's a birthday celebration for our cars, and a day to relax and enjoy them and each other. See you next year, even bigger, and maybe more outta-staters!!

 

I also liked the fact that we did not single out a few as the best! We were all equal. I think that is the way it should always be. We are eclectic, and that is what I love the most!! Todd

 

Well said brother. Add that and meeting people like Pirate Dave! man that orange panel was really nice. - 2010 was a very well ran, well mixed G2G. I made a point this year of talking to more folks I never get to see. It's very cool to see people into their cars, you hear "that looks killer!" or " We need to get one of those " all day. Although I didnt get to delete any wipers, I gave plenty of how-to's out.
