i'm very sad hearing about charles. when i came to the g2g at the book store, i met charles. he was amazed the i drove from las vegas just for a fun day with HHR people. he was a joy to talk to at irwindale later in the day. i've lost too many friends in the last year. charles will always be in my heart, paul.

I only knew Charles a short time, but considered him a good friend. A truly genuine person and nice guy. I had the pleasure of meeting Charles, and often Larry and Marilyn, for lunch on several occasions. Usually at Bob's in Burbank, one of his favorites. Last time we had lunch there he wanted me to drive his SS back to his house to feel the difference since he installed the sage 1 kit. I declined because I already liked his SS just a little too much! Bob's is a good location for a lunch to honor Charles.

 

Our thanks to everyone for all the kind words.

We also think Bob’s would be a great place but know how bad the parking is at any time of any day.

So, we have picked Charles’ second favorite place – Ernie Jr’s. Taco House.
