Hey I was just wondering how many Bakersfield HHR owners are on this site?

I ask because spring through fall I go to the Sonic Drive-In every Friday night for the local cruise night.

Last Friday I took my HHR out and parked just acrossed the way from the PT guys (some were cool, others weren't). Anyway, I thought it might be cool if us Bakersfield HHR guys make a showing sometime. Maybe even meet somewhere prior then drive in all together.

Just some ideas and testing the waters.

So, what do you think Bakersfield guys?

 

count us in! but that will make 2 red hhr's if that's not a problem we'd love to cruise in to sonic.

 

Dang , i wish Bakersfield wasnt so far away from San Diego... I LOVE SONIC !!... How come yall have like 8 and we have ZERO??

I can do that! I was going to wait till I got my 34 Ford coupe ready and join some of my hot rod buddies, but the HHR can go anytime. And we can help break up all that red!

Is this the Olive Drive Sonic that you are talking about? I live in the neighborhood behind the Sonic at Stockdale and Allen and we have had some car meets there in the past.

In the meantime, you should be planning to join us on the coast this weekend.

 

Okay guys, are we on for tonight?

I'd like for us HHR guys to meet up at the Donut shop on the corner of Airport and Roberts at 6pm. This way we can all drive into Sonic together and park next to each other as well.

The rest of us HHR guys are heading to the coast for the Coast Run tonight. I guess you didn't see the message in time.

Next weekend I am out because I promised the wife we would stay home for a change. Maybe the following weekend.

 

I saw the thing for the coast run, but I have to attend B-Day party that was scheduled before I even bought my HHR.

No worries, maybe by that Friday (the 22nd) I have my 454 powered Datsun Z car out there too.

 

We would enjoy finding things to do and places to go with our new 07 HHR. We are from Bakersfield. Just got ours last weekend. 2007 Sunburst orange, 2lt. 2.4, sunroof, stereo,17" wheels. Let us know what is up!!!
