I'm down for Disneyland ANYTIME - We both have passes and make it down there at least 1 Friday or Sunday a month (sometimes we play hookie and go in the middle of the week.)

BTW - Another Simi Valley HHR here!

I agree with Sindy, I would just like to be able to play hookey from work for a day.

It's a perfect time of year for Disneyland

I love Disneyland this time of year. It's all decked out for the holidays and will be for the next few months. Pirates of the Caribbean has been redone and is longer and fun, there are a few improvements in the Haunted Mansion and the Jungle Cruise, oh, and of course, Space Mountain is all redone this year...If you haven't been here this year, the castle has been redone and is gorgeous!

You can print a list of Hidden Mickeys all over the park and take it with you... http://www.hiddenmickeys.org/Disneyland/

and of course there are new rides in California Adventure, the Monsters Inc ride, the Buzz Lightyear one, Turtle Talk with Crush... But sharing a loaf of sourdough on the "wharf", watching the nighttime parades and the fireworks with friends...that's priceless. (I sound like a commercial).

So how's your November shaping up? We are 5 minutes from there, and there are several of us with annual passes and parking passes, NOT TO MENTION that I might be able to get some people in free from a friend...(not in December, though).

This calendar shows the blockout dates for our annual pass, so we can't go on those dates. But you can PM me for a meet-up, carpool over and get free parking, or we can do an organized thing, meeting at my house first, and caravaning in together to park next to each other... I'm really up for this, but we need some ACTION on it in the next few weeks.

Arrow

Well, as I was mulling this Disneyland thing over, a National Run thread was being unfurled... what are you doing this next August?? Can you imagine being the flagship of a huge meet-up with stops across the U.S...and finally rolling into a welcoming arms of the Midwest homies?? We do have time to plan it - the lodging etc is less expensive there - but wow, time off and $$?? I wouldn't do it alone, but I might jump on board...
