Chuck, how about I throw you down an official SoCalHHR's T-shirt as an incentive? Would that make the drive a bit easier?

I am in Dublin, CA. about 30 miles east of San Francisco. Gee, seems like I am the only member in Northern California at the moment. Wish I could join you all in SoCal. Perhaps, one day soon! I have seen many HHR's here in the Bay Area, but none on the Forums.

Almost

Well fellas i tried to make it, but with the weather the way it was and the ridiculous amount of traffic on I-5 and especially 210 i made it as far as Irwindale Ca By that time it was almost 8:00pm (and can you believe i got on the road by 2:00pm) so i gave up. Anyway i'm looking to the next one (I'll just have to take the day off and leave very early. Hope you guys had a good time.

When you were on the 210 in La Crescenta at the Pennsylvania Ave. exit you were about 1/2 mile from me.

We'll it wasnt a too bad of a trip i got too see about 5 different HHR's on the freeway, from what i could tell 3 of them were Ls but 1 was somewhat nice looking, had the billet grille, stock wheels, didnt look lowered, and had a "FOX RACING" rear window decal. All in all i had a pretty good time :) (just wish i could of made it to cruise night).

Sorry to hear about your drive Chuck. You were missed. We had 5 HHR's (1 Blue, 2 Charcoal, and 2 Blacks). Everyone had a great time chatting about cars & mods, and we did a bit of driving in the rain. Fazoli's was good food and fun - what a great bunch of folks! Here's a few pics:

Maybe next time Chuckster!
