Dude! I would go in a minute, it's not that far and such a good cause... but it's the day after the Cruisin' for a Cure all day thing, and I need a day to recoup. Will there be something like this coming up again soon? Because I hope you would post again, okay? These shows, can all kinds of cars be in them? - I think it would be a blast.

I know. I'm gonna miss the Cruisn' for a Cure show because of this show. Plus I have other things going on Saturday too.

This is a part II of the first show, so I dont think anyone made up flyers.

Show is from 8am to 2pm max I'm sure. Here is the data from the show from two weeks ago. Again, flyer is for the show that already passed at a different location. This Sundays show is simply another just like it only in Chino.

Here is a slide show of last years event.

I don't think either is intentional! I live in Claremont, is all...not that much of a stretch from here to Anaheim. Heck, once in a while we go to the movie theatres all the over at The Block in Orange just for the adventure of it, rather than one of the more nearby ones, like in LaVerne, Ontario, etc.

Did it rain in Anaheim today? It did here...and guess what I did last night when I got home from work. I spent an hour or more washing the car...cleaning the wheels to the last molecule of brake dust, getting the glass perfect...heck...I even went so mental as to clean the insides of the wheel wells and the splash guards. I also washed my "old" car...our 2002 Cavalier. And what happens? RAIN! ARRRRRGGGHHHH!!!

Poor thing - all that work! But it's all good, right?

I bought some stuff that you spray up in your wheel wells after they're cleaned, and it sort of paints them black and makes them easier to clean after that. So far so good. Of course, my husband put it on for me, I'm so spoiled.

NO the sun is shining bright here still. These crazy weather systems - I don't know how people plan anything where the rains come and go all the time!!

The forecast I saw a minute ago said only a 6% chance of rain on Saturday - jeez, we won't know until we get IN THE CAR Saturday, and of course, we won't know how long it's going to last.

The block is fun, but I like to see the movies when they are in the Colossus theaters, and they don't stay there very long. Then you get good sound in dinky theaters. I mourn for the good old days of the huge DOME theaters.

I've been to car shows in La Verne, and several times to Rancho Cucamonga. Oh, and the Mattel toy club stores over there, too, I dunno if that's Corona or Chino Hills or what...SO MANY TOWNS in so few square miles. It's as bad as Anaheim.

Question: Is Chino the same thing as Chino Hills??

Chino and Chino Hills are two separate cities, legally, but like all the rest of them around here, they blend together so much it's not like you really know that you're no longer in one and then in another.

My HHR only has 1600 miles on it, and I've given it a bath every week since I got it, so the wheels haven't really gotten that dirty, but that's my goal: to keep massive amounts of dirt or brake dust or peanut butter or whatever from building up in the first place, so I don't have to do back breaking cleaning to get things back the way they should be!
