Covina area?

If anyone is a regular thought the Covina area, I'm happy to meet up for lunch most any time. Lots of good restaurants. Sushi is my favorite, but some consider that bait!

Where or what we eat isn't important; just meeting is what is!

Hey Mark!

Some of the joys of living in SoCal is the great weather and the great food--many of us have no problem driving out someplace to meet up and definitely to eat!

Anyplace we can meet up out your way on a Saturday or Sunday that wont mind some HHR's taking up room in their parking lots?

You going to be able to make it to Tom's?

@ngelita
(I know at least 2 of us who LOVE sushi too!)

No, Can't make it to Tom's. That is what prompted my Email.

I'll have to put my thinking cap on about a place That wouldn't mind some HHR's. Legends Diner in Glendora might work. I'll have to ask them.

In my original post I was actually thinking about just an impromptu at Lunchtime during the week. But that would only involve one or two or more. The Saturday thing would be better. I'll check it out.

Does the "Pomona Valley Mining Co" still exist? (I'm dating myself here!)... Top of the hill, might be a spot??

Driving hither and yon during the week is an issue for a lot of us, and I am a bit limited on most Satruday's unless it's after 3.30 or so--but other then that, need no excuse to pop open Blackie's sunroof and go for a drive someplace!

Keep us posted!

I grew up there

Well, West Covina actually. We used to meet all the time at the various In and Out. Going north on Azusa, right side, at Badillo there's a few restaurants with that huge parking lot. I think Coco's is/was there, Danny's Kosher Pickle Deli, etc.

Lots of cruise areas in Covina.

Slob's Pig Boy is a good choice; will try to make that. Just post it to the board and If I can I'll be there.

My offer to those who are spontaneous and happen to be in the area, feel free to drop by. My treat.... as long as it is Costco Hot dogs!! LOL!
