Crusin for a Cure Sept. 27, 08
Everyone has access to either mapquest or a GPS. Angies house is CLOSE to the fairgrounds and is easy to find. Let's just meet at her house and have a short cruise to the facility. 5:15 at Angies, onto the fair, set up and crash if needed. Get her number and address and lets nail this down.

As for me the later the leaving time from the meeting place the better. No matter Angie's or Best Buy. I cam come down the 405, 5 or 57.
My problem is my "fan club" does not want to get up early and I am not that comfortable driving in dark any longer.

Well Charles, I would bet that we could save a spot or 2. Perhaps let the people at the gate know that we have one or 2 coming in a little later? You could call one of us and we could tell you where we are? Suggestions? Sun rise is at 6:30. I just emailed the participant contact person about this and will post her reply.
Being a 56 year old prostate cancer survivor (so far) after surgery last November, I would like to thank all the participants for their supporting this worthwhile cause. Although I am one of the 10% of men who suffered complications from the robotic surgery, I know with further research, complications that I am experiencing will be a thing of the past.
I wish I could also participate in the Crusin for a Cure, but it's a long drive from KY to CA.
I pray that God will bless each of the participants for contributing to the PCA research.

Oh David, thank you so much for posting in here. It makes us more aware of the reason that sponsors this wonderful show each year. We'll save you a spot in our hearts, how's that? And pictures - we promise lots of pictures.
Anyone who is tested and gets an abnormal reading gets a blue "survivor" T shirt to wear next year and that's also a nice reminder of the good they are doing at the Cruise.

Don, I miss you brother. Glad to see you are back in the mix. Take it easy and relax as much as possible. I am glad that we have finally determined the meeting place, all this indecision was killing me. This is the reason we don't have anyone showing up anymore. Some of us need to step up and take control if we are going to continue as a club. Sorry, just ranting, have a feeling I am not done yet though, LOL, Todd (Uma)
