Resurrecting this poor neglected thread. I am registered and will be doing this for sure. It's tax deductible and an extremely good cause.

Stolen from TKHHR's post:

I gotta check my schedule to see if I have escuela that Saturday.
All day events like this are a little tiring, but I think I can do it if not busy.

Who is Esquela - your cat sitter?

Oh Angie, it will be fun - the flea market is huge and fun right next door and we get in free with our Goody Bags. And with 3500+ cars to look at, it takes all day.

Plus we can leave our spaces any time to roll around the circle and be gawked at "en force" and people who need to can slip out at that time too.

Oh yeah! This is at the OC fairgrounds, isn't it?!
Damn, gotta check my schedule--I think the syllabus is up already for fall 08.
(escuela is school)

Even if I can't go, at least its a donation for the boys!

It anyone needs to reschedule! This is the one! I know some of us are not into car shows. We are all busy, etc, etc.! Blah blah. Well, this is the one that you need to suck it up and go to! Like it or not, this is important to SoCal HHR's. We need to show up big. Last year we got punk'd by the Pt group, do not want that to happen again. We need to pull at least 15 cars, if not 25. Now, now Mr. Uma! Since I can't get a man with or without a prostate to come knocking on my door, if I have class that day, not even this will get me to reschedule! but I will try to make it...

Are you all signing up as SoCal HHR's?

OK, now that is good! LOL. This is important to Cheri, and me as well, if it wasn't for her than I would not be here. I just think that we can get over ten cars to get a burger, then we better be able to make a good showing at an event that reflects on us as a group. I know that family and personal stuff comes first, I am just asking to make an effort. Todd (Uma)

Todd, you know I always try to make events, even when I am dog tired.

So, I will check my schedule and if I am free that Saturday, a check is in the mail ASAP and will be there even if I have to plug in the laptop and do homework like I did at other events because I am a dork!

But I'll probably be shopping with Ms. Cheri...

Checked schedule: yes, I have that Saturday free
You know, I've had that entry form on my desk for months ready to send.
Check going out today! Can't say no to you, Todd!
Thanks!

This is the car show I go to hang, don't worry about the awards and such, it's just cool to walk around the whole place and see what others have done. It is an o-dark-thirty in the morning, but ya can leave pretty much anytime if you have to go somewhere. We usually hang till 4ish
