Deja Vu Rendezvous '09 / May 9, 2009
UPDATE-Details!
Saturday, May 9, 2009 - Come Join Us!
Okay everyone, here are the details and Estimated Itinerary. Remember, this is Estimated, we can change a bit on the fly if we find we're ready to leave somewhere earlier, or we want more time at a particular stop. Stops with restrooms available are denoted with an (R)
The address for the starting location is-
Andersen's Pea Soup Restaurant
376 Avenue Of The Flags, Buellton, CA
There is a parking lot right in front of the restaurant, right on the corner, but we will be in the lot NEXT to that, as it is quite open, and we shouldn't be in anyone's way that early in the morning. This parking lot is between the other lot and the Best Western Pea Soup Andersen's, which can easily be seen just east of the restaurant on Route 246. Any further questions, be sure to ask!
09:45 - Meet at Pea Soup Anderson’s
10:15 - Depart for the Cruise
11:00 - Rest Stop (R)
11:10 - Depart Rest Stop
11:15 - Vista Point #1
11:35 - Depart VP#1
12:15 - Cold Springs Tavern (R)
12:45 - Depart CST
1:05 - Vista Point #2 (R)
1:30 - Depart VP#2
2:00 - Arrive in Solvang
And here is the route map, as tracked out with Microsoft Streets and Maps 2005. If anyone has a compatible program and would like the file for this map, PM me with your email and I can send it to you.

Okay, today Kristin and I went out on our timing run, keeping to all speed limits squarely, aside from when it went 65mph, I generally sat around 60-62mph. it is an SS, if I let it go much faster, I just take off without trying lol. I will be getting an image of the map trail I made with MS Streets & Trips 2005, hopefully be able to do that tomorrow, and I will finalize the time schedule, and get it all posted up for everyone. Lets start a list of attending vehicles so I can finalize some locations, then we will be good to go. I am thinking making the starting and ending points public parking lots for ease and space, but the ending point might be a bit tricky. I will get it figured out though.
So, attendees are (please add your name to the list if you're going to be here):
1. Yonash (Black '08 SS)

okay so far we have:
1. Yonash ('08 OB SS)
2. JRACERX ('08 SW 2LT)
3. tracy waddell ('07 IBM)
4. dyline ('07 SW LT)
5.
just copy/paste the current list into your reply, add yourself (by screen name preferrably), and list year, color, and trim please. having it in a complete ongoing list will make it easier to keep track of and get a final count. i understand most cars will have multiple people in it, but i am trying to get a good count of the number of cars coming.

yes it is. i started a new thread to help me out on keeping tabs of the information, since there are soo many pages to the other one, and some of the info in that one is not going to be as relevant, as after running the route, i think a couple things should be changed, nothing major. as soon as i get some time off and have my laptop accessible to me, i'll compile everything and put it up in this thread.

Chris, I am in Todd (Uma), and if you haven't heard from Kris (Lyntamr) she is in also. Little suggestion here, Us old folk may need a pitstop every hour or so. I also will bring two way radios so we can keep informed during the caravan. Todd (Uma)
