I used to think like that too, but very rapidly did I learn that the 91 freeway/parking lot does not discriminate against time or day...

It's almost 9, and I'm the first one home and posting.

MAJOR MAJOR kudos to Bud (1HOTHHR) and his lovely wife Barbara!! Bud worked endless months to organize this and obtain our wonderful door prizes - (yes, I was a lucky winner!) and I just want to be the first to say that I will be back next year. This was SOOO much fun and I can't even begin to mention all of the people that I was fortunate to meet and spend many hours with today.

Along with Bud, I just want to say that many came from far away, from busy schedules re-arranged, and sat in blinding sun at time, with grace and humor and big smiles...and I don't know WHO would say that it wasn't worth every second!!

We came, we caravanned, we CONQUERED!
We played, we joked, we bonded!
We photo'd, we video'd and we LAPPED our ceremonial laps...

Photos, slideshows, and videos to come...

Could not agree more!! It was so much fun. It was go good to see everyone, and yes...Kudos to Bud, it was great. I don't know about anyone else, but for me..seeing 20 HHR's rollin' down the freeway was sweet!! You couldn't have wiped the smile off my face with a brick to the head. More later..still giddy as a school girl.

Great day! Great cars! Great people!... And great dog! We loved Endo!

It was great to see old friends and we also loved meeting new friends. Bud did a great service to us and it is obvious that we all realize what a labor it was and I hope he realizes how much we appreciate him. (Don't forget to say Happy Birthday to him tomorrow!)

It was a hot day and I'm sure I am not the only one with a bit of a sunburn today, but it was worth every second. There is going to be a lot of great pictures and videos from this event and I can't wait to see them. My camera is still in the car so I haven't even looked at the ones we took yet.

As bud mentioned, we'll put up pictures an videos on his site at http://www.bud-harvey.com. And for those that asked, the URL to order more merchandise is http://www.cafepress.com/fieroperf/3225236.

I look forward to seeing you all at the next event!
