Ebbetts Pass Run over the Sierras - NorCal - June 19, 2010

Summer time is arriving soon. Thought I would throw this out and see if anyone would be interested. Everyone is invited

Saturday June 19, 2010 (As long as the snow is melted)
This run will reach elevations up to 8500 feet and might not be for everyone. The Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway is one of the lesser-known and least traveled trans-Sierra routes.

We would meet-up in Stockton @ Chase Chevrolet at 8am. It would be a scenic drive Hwy 4 up and over the Sierra Nevada Mountains to Hwy 89 and Markleeville to Hwy 88 down to Jackson. We could finish at Jackson Rancheria Casino Hotel. Approx. 215 miles.

Lets hear your thoughts or ideas.

My kind of run! Good chance I'll be there. I would probably hook up with everyone at Angels Camp so I don't have to drive down the mountain to Hades... I mean Stockton

I am cutting Fred some slack since I have done the drive from Stockton to Bass Lake, not fun.

What time are you leaving Chase? I will have to work that morning. If I can get someone to take Double D and get off work in time, I am in!

I would think that we would leave by 8:30am, which should put us in Angels Camp about 9:30 or so to meet up with HHR_ROX_CALI
(Fred - Our Official Photographer)

Also heard from George (blue and silver two tone panel) that they would like to join us.

Whoa Maybe we could go sledding while up there

We are hoping to make this run/event. Previously we have made plans to go to Disneyland (our favorite place on earth) on the 20th. So if we are to get our act together (vacation packing) early, we just might be able to join you all.

This run/event looks like it would be a fabulous experience and FUN with Great company.
