The more the merrier! A few days ago, Dorian went by Ruby's in the morning and they had classic cars parked in all the car hop stalls and a TV van was there. Wish I knew what they were doing - I bet it's for website photos, though.
I found this on a blogger's site:
"The restaurant opens at 7 a.m. in the old Five Points Building, at 1128 West Lincoln Avenue, in downtown Anaheim.
Up to 12 cars can take advantage of the restaurant’s unique drive-in service, where roller-skating servers like Volmer bring burgers, fries and shakes to your car.
The lanes will be open all day, even in the morning. The outdoor menu is limited to a handful of signature Ruby’s dishes.
Inside, the 1928 building — once a thriving commercial area used by the original Anaheim Colonists –- is decorated with period colors and fixtures to match the era.
The chain’s traditional bright red, black and white colors have been scrapped for richer tan and oxblood tones to give the restaurant a more historic look. Vinyl “wood” flooring is also a unique feature of the diner."

WOW What a great video !! It was so informative. We're so excited to meet everyone there, it will be sooo COOL !!
They (Ruby's company/City of Anaheim) should make up a NEW video with our Modern Day Hot Rods. Now wouldnt that be COOL
Will our group be eating in the car hop stalls/drive in? Or we just all park together and go on inside?

I'm excited. The place is jumping every time I drive by. I think we should park in the back of the lot and meet&greet, then go inside. We can bring cameras and record the car hops LOL.

Oh I thought Disney was getting back into pro sports, buying the A's. They are still a pro team right?
