This is Don from Long Beach, Ca. I had a beautiful 03 Mercury Marauder that was totaled on 11/4/07. After the dust settled and the insurance madness was complete, I went car shopping.

I love those Marauders, 300HP, Big car ride and just plain bad attitude. However, I was faced with a few challenges. One, finding another Marauder that didnt have a bazillion miles and I could afford. Two, getting back in to a car that got horrible mileage and not a good commuter.

So I drove everything in the $20k range. All the while, I would see HHR's and a friend has one too. They are wayyyyy cool. Old school style, fat fenders, etc. I drove one and was surprised how quick they are. Long story short, I bought an 08 Summit White LT2 and I sure love this little cruiser.

I will be attending the Donut/Coddington cruise on the 12th and look forward to seeing more HHR's and meeting the gang.
