260hp in a small wagon should be fairly quick! I currently have a SC'ed Vibe that makes no where near that and it is decent. My wife's 08 Camry LE V6 has 268 hp and that sucka is fast! lol

I'm in San Diego, around the Mission Valley area. Although it's my car, my husband may accomodate you and bring you for a ride since it's a 5 spd (as I'm assuming you're a guy and I'm not keen on the idea of taking a strange guy for a ride by myself for obvious reasons). Let me know if you're interested and I'll ask him what day would work best for him. Maybe even tonight if you have the time since he goes to a weekly car meet on Tuesdays and can just bring my car instead of his.

Let me know!

Awesome, I would really appreciate it! I wouldn't be able to make it to the meet as I work evenings from 4-12:30. Maybe sometime during the day or the weekend. I just saw an orange 1 today for the first time in SD over by Costco on Market. I'm definitely looking forward to getting a ride in 1, then all I have to do is find an auto somewhere to buy! lol

IMO the seats are more comfortable, much more power, surprisingly fast for your money, handle incredibly well, and so long as you aren't racing around everywhere you go, you'll get pretty darn good gas mileage too.
OH, Chris I do love the SS. I wish I had yours, LOL. Black is my color, it just is not going to happen for me anytime soon. My point being however, I hear lots of complaints from the SS buyers, I think that they are expecting Z06 performance in an HHR package. Hope to see you two soon, Todd (Uma)

You mean it's not a Z06? I've been living a fantasy? LOL

Okay, well I talked to my husband last night and he said it's fine. Since both of us work during the day, I guess the weekend is your only chance. As far as I know, he doesn't have anything planned except Sat morning so let me know what day and time frame this weekend works best for you. Too bad you work nights, I'm actually racing it at Qualcomm tomorrow night and you could check it out then. I've raced it before, but it's been awhile. My husband wants to put his drag radials on it, so we'll see if I get better times.

Could you post some of your times please. Perhaps some with stock tires and then with drag radials. Thanks

Well, I wouldn't say the times will be too accurate for what this car can do since the last time I raced was the first time I ever raced at a track (of sorts). If you don't know, it's just an 1/8 mile track set up in the parking lot, so it's nothing like a real track even though they do prep it to the best of their ability. The best time me or my husband (who's made hundreds of passes there in his car) could get on stock tires was a 10.4 but got a lot of tire spin which affects the ET.

Not bad, I pulled a 9.895 with my wifes auto 08 Camry LE at Qualcomm. I used to take my S/C'ed Vibe there all the time, my dually once. Best time I got with the Vibe was in the 10's (high I think). I will get back to you, I sent you my number. This weekend probably won't happen as I got tickets to the Cowboys game Sat and my son's 4yo B-day is Sunday. Maybe we can just plan for a day next weekend?!? Give me a call if you want, or you can just post here, either way I'll get it.
