Damronjr,

I too liked your vibe. That would've been my next choice if the HHR didn't exist.

I got my o6 from Jimmy Johnson in Kearny Mesa, which dealer did you get the SS from?

Got it from Courtesy, would definitely not recommend them! Had lots of problems with them. Sale almost fell through!

I'm glad you found one! Unfortunately, mine is still in the shop since there's no such thing as quality anymore and there were all kinds of stuff wrong under the clearcoat so we had to tell them to take it back and redo it.

I definitely wouldn't suggest Poway Chev. They took forever to send the check to pay off my trade-in and we ended up paying 3 car payments for 2 months and everyone there just made the excuse that the owner wasn't hardly there and didn't get around to signing the check! We didn't have any issues with Courtesy when we got my husband's cobalt or when we went there looking for an HHR SS. I guess maybe it's the salesperson or the other people there at the time.

Oh man, I don't even want to get into it. It would take while to explain, but in the end they were threatening to cancel my deal on the SS and the trade-in of my Vibe, threatening to call the cops on me, and to report my Vibe stolen and send a repo-man to my house to get it! On top of that as I was talking to the 1 salesman on the phone I found out him and his manager were sitting in a car across the street from my house looking at me! Then supposedly it was all a misunderstanding (more like bunch of lies and miscommunication) on their behalf! Also, 1 of the service writers or whatever the guys that have you sign all the paperwork are called was a total ass with my wife, and every time I have been told someone is supposed to be there they are not! First word of advice, stay away from any young salesman, foreign service writers, and guys with alcohol beverage tattoos on their head!

I will try to remember that one! Do not buy a car from a guy with an alcoholic beverage tattoo on his head. They treat my better half like crap, and you cannot deal with them because they can't speak the language. Damronjr, you are a better man than me, I would have lost it. Todd (Uma)

Yeah, my Dad got his cobalt from them...took forever to sign the papers kept whining that we buy the ext'd warranty, silcone paint sealant (good for 5 years...right) Underbody coating (in cali?) and lojack. Good thing my sister and I were there to prevent them from getting loaded down w/extra costs.

Funny a year later, same finance manager was there at Jimmy Johnson. I told her as soon as I met don't try to sell me what I don't want or the deals off!

So far the service dept is ok..but the part's dept sucks!

Since the baby was sick I wasn't able to race a couple weeks ago, but on the radials my husband was able to get a 9.7. He said he was getting better times with each pass, but there were so many people he wasn't able to many runs to get better. He now put a generic tune on the HHR via HP Tuners, so we'll see what that does. I was supposed to race it tonight, but he decided to put the radials on his Cobalt and race it instead. I was still going to race on my street tires, but he decided to take his sweet time with stuff, time just kept passing and I never got to race. (We brought the baby, so he would've had to stop). There's another race Sept. 5th, so we'll bring it out then with the radials.

I was still working nights until last night, so hopefully the 5th I will be able to be there as well!
