How many Batcars are there?

Went to the movie Tuesday in Fullerton and caught this beauty... I have seen the one in the Peterson Museum - how many can there be? Hope you can see these...

Talking Only Barris really knows.

Nice pics ! What i would'nt do for one of those replicas. http://www.1966batmobile.com/faq.htm

I've always heard Barris made 4 for the original TV series. (Some say up to 6)

3 or 4 is probally the real number. There was also someone selling kits (just like the mach 5 ) I heard Barris put the kabosh on that. I believe he owns the trademark to the name Batmobile as you will always see his name on any new Batmobile toys.

The last real documented Batmobile from the TV series sold for $ 1,000,000
The kits sell for between $ 75,000 - $ 100,000 depending on the options.

A reproduction sold at barrett for $ 86,000 a year or two ago. (it was a nice one)

I know Barris has at least 1 of the originals.

And per Adam West (BATMAN) , He has the most extensive batman collection in the world , But won't show it or talk about it, None of it is for sale.

I bet he's got one of the original Batmobiles.
