As for the pun, I love them too. But I was born here, so I have a pocito pocito understanding of the spanish language.
As well as a sister who majored in English lit, Spanish lit, worked in San Diego for years, and you can't guess where she is from, over the phone in Espaņol.
She is the one who squared me away on terms like 'whey', as well as taught me the difference between Nalgas and a Kulo... Her BF once got the terms mixed up telling a joke in spanish to her best customer from Mexico.!

Oh man...I'm speechless here from just laughing! I think on that note it is time to get off this infernal machine...

Ok, there are two events that day in Burbank... The Chevy show and Burbank High schools 100 anniversary..w/car show. I've been asked to assist with the school event by the Historical Society and will. This school thing is a 4 day event starting Thursday. Anson Williams from Happy Days is the master of Ceremonies.

However, I still want and have the time to do the Chevy show and Ice Cream Social . If the 14th is ok with everyone, then it's a go. I may not be at the Chevy show until after 9:AM, but it will happen.

If we wanna BBQ as well, then let me know and we can get that going for the afternoon as well. I'm willing to do both as long as the BBQ is a Bring your own stuff type thing. . I have a gas grill and a large deck (not bragging) behind my house we can sit and relax after the show.

Is there a flier on that show somewhere? If it is vintage Chevys I might have to look into bringing out the 54 instead.

Would it be possible to miss the car show and come to Bob's directly? I'm just DONE with the heat at this time of year, but am up for socializing.

I second that--can't do an all day car show (heat, homework), but could do a food-thang probably in the afternoon. Although as of right now, it is a 'no' to both

When I brought the idea of the car show to Bob my idea was not to be in the show but to see the cars then head for the ice cream..

Or come to the show for a few hours, before the BBQ or whatever.

All day events, especially in the heat, are hard on me.
