Invite to Endless Summers San Diego
Anyone receive a email invite from Craig Moya COCSD (aka Main Street America Car Show) to be one of 14 non corvette cars at Bob Stall Chevrolet to celebrate Chevy's 100th Birthday?.
Gentlemen,
The Corvette Owners Club of San Diego is hosting the "Endless Summer" car show at Bob Stall Chevrolet on Sunday, October 2nd. Historically, Endless Summer has been an all-Corvette show. However, this year we would like to have a 32-vehicle display honoring the 100th Anniversary of Chevrolet, comprised of 18 Corvettes and 14 non-Corvettes.
Each of you owns a beautiful example of what Chevrolet has done right over that period and we would like to invite you to be a part of the anniversary display. It's not our intent to limit the display to vehicles that are "factory correct". We feel that it is important to include Chevrolets that reflect the owner's personalities as well. That is why I have selected the 14 Chevrolets you own to be a part of the anniversary display. Please note that the anniversary display is by-invitation-only and will be limited to the 32 Chevrolets.
As in previous years, the main lot at Bob Stall will be reserved for a display of Corvettes owned by members of the three clubs sponsored by Bob Stall - the Corvette Owners Club of San Diego, the North County Corvette Club and Corvettes of San Diego. But the lot directly in front of the showroom will be reserved for the anniversary display.
We intend to publicize the event and we expect to have media coverage and a large number of spectators. As a part of the event, we will have hot dogs and Julian apple pie.
Endless Summer will run from 10 AM to 3 PM, but those who participate in the anniversary display will need to arrive no later than 8 AM, so that we have ample time to get all of the vehicles staged.
Please let me know if you are interested in being a part of the anniversary display. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

I think they sent this to only a few people. ie they want a representative cross section of chevy cars in the presentation coral. Did anyone else from SoCal HHRs get an Email from Craig? If it's just me that got the invite, I'd rather give the slot (If I'm allowed) to someone from the group that'd better represent us.
